Information which can be collected automatically via the internet
The K2Kpay web server logs can capture computer information, navigation and click-stream data such as http requests. Some of the information, such as your domain name or IP address, may identify you depending on the naming standards followed by your Internet service provider.
The information captured can identify the following; the Internet domain and IP address from which you access our web site, the type of browser and operating system used to access our site, screen resolution of your monitor, the date and time you access our site, the pages you visit, and if you linked to the K2Kpay web site from another web site, the address of that web site. This information is used to help us make our site more useful to our audiences by learning about the number of visitors to our site, and by monitoring traffic patterns and the types of technology our visitors use. K2Kpay also uses this information to track the origin of specific visitors to better understand its marketing efforts. This information is collected by K2Kpay as well as third-party analytics providers, including the Google Analytics service.
Information collected for K2Kpay services
To open a K2Kpay Merchant account, you will be asked to contact us with specific information about yourself and your business. This is usually done via phone calls and emails. Depending on your location this can also include a visit with one of our representatives. Some of this information may be shared with a third-party, such as a credit bureau. For more information about how your information is used, please read the Terms & Conditions in the Merchant Agreement provided through K2Kpay.
The K2Kpay website does not automatically gather any personal information from you. This information is only obtained if you provide it voluntarily, through contacting us or using one of our services, such as our “Contact us” form.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
